Capital Data Service is celebrating it's 25th anniversary in 2010 and what an anniversary this is shaping up to be! In the first quarter of 2010 Capital Data Service has more VMware virtualization projects in progress than the entire year of 2009. We will have secured more networks with Sonicwall UTM firewalls in the first quarter than we did in the past 2 years. Capital Data Service is also deploying more Iomega iSCSI network attached storage and HP servers than it deployed in all of 2009 and along with alliance partner Communications Resources, Inc. we have deployed our first Avaya VoIP solution. Needless to say 2010 is expected to be the best year since the company was founded in 1985!
Capital Data Service not only provides managed techonlogy services to Georgia, South Carolina and Florida but we have recently expanded to the states of Tennessee and Texas. This allows businesses and government entities in these states to benefit from our technology solutions such as server virtualization, disaster recovery, network security and network support services.
Tony Belladona, Technology Solution Specialist managing our Columbia, SC office, has recently completed his VTSP4 certification for VMware. Tony is an integral part of Capital Data Service growth and is focused on providing network services and solutions to Columbia, SC business and government organizations.
Sherry Ridgway, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, is the catalyst to our virtualization initiative. Working hand-in-hand with the Capital Data Service engineering team Sherry is showing organizations how they can take advantage of new technologies in order to add disaster recovery and high availability to their network infrastructure while at the same time reducing server footprint and power consumption.
The past 25 years of business has taken Capital Data Service from a small computer refurb and technical shop to an organization that provides cutting edge and affordable information technology solutions to businesses and goverment organizations across five states. We have our loyal and continually growing customer base and our dedicated staff as well as partnerships to thank for our success! Without either of them we would have never made it to this great milestone!
