NETWORK ENGINEER

We are looking for a Network Engineer that can thrive in a challenging and rewarding environment. This person will help design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain networks. This person will be comfortable interfacing with customers as this is a consulting position.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipments and related services
• Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support
• Assist in preparation of proposals and solution presentations
• Maintain and support company’s LAN/WAN environment
• Windows and System i, business applications, anti-virus protection, email, and authentication administration
• Daily maintenance and problem resolution, operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configuration
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
• Obtain and maintain required certifications for partnership with key vendors

The ideal candidate will posses the following skills:

• Hands-on experience implementing and administrating network devices, setting and maintaining policies and rights/security within a Windows Server 2003 environment: -Firewalls -Cisco and 3Com network switches -Routers -VPN -Wireless Access Points -HP, IBM server platforms -Windows Server 2003 Active Directory -Backup and recovery solutions and operations -Desktop and laptop installation and problem resolution in a Windows XP environment
• Previous responsibility for providing customer support
• Demonstrable level of competence including a thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking
• A practical level of experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
• Working knowledge of common network monitoring and security utilities
• Troubleshooting focused on determining hardware vs. software, hardware vs. firmware, software vs. operating system, network vs. application/systems, and patterned vs. non-repeatable problems
• 3+ years of network administration mandatory
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably engineering related)
• Current industry related certifications
• Ability to lift, carry, and move all components of PC workstations, servers, network equipments, peripherals, and other ancillary equipments

NETWORK SECURITY SALES REPRESENTATIVE

CDS is currently seeking motivated individuals with outside sales experience. This position is located in Gainesville, Georgia and has an immediate start date. It is a full-time position, working a standard daytime shift.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently meeting and exceeding quotas on a quarterly basis.
- Developing new business and build pipeline for future business.
- Identifying and capitalizing on needs in specific industry markets.
- Building and utilizing relationships to cultivate a loyal customer base.
- Maintaining current product and market knowledge including competitor comparisons.
- Define, own and improve sales related strategic metrics.
- Develop proposals and presentations in order to set proper customer expectations.
- Support customer base by communicating CDS's key solutions and business impacts both verbally and written.
- Plan and direct own activities with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will posses the following skills:
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience.
- Aggressive sales history, including verifiable track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Ability to establish and expand relationships with key executives and decision makers within each customer organization.
- Business/marketing experience in the Network Security market a plus.
- Strong passion for Information Security Sales, and Highly Motivated to Succeed.
- Bachelor's degree.
